Bye Osama Bin Laden!

According to Bloomberg, Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan yesterday in a firefight with a team of U.S. operatives who raided the compound where he had been hiding, President Barack Obama said.
Aside from this good news, I found some joke about the death of Laden outdoes the royal wedding.

Moreover, someone even relate Iphone to Laden's death.  A few days before Laden's news, people found that Iphone can track user's location. So, someone says that maybe Laden exposed his location when using Iphone, and Steve Jobs is the hero in this case.
Don't take it serious! Just joking!

  1. I think it says something about how momentous the death of Osama Bin Laden is that despite this blog seeming to have a focus on sports, a post about the death of this internationally known terrorist does not seem to be that out of place. Although the death of an individual is nothing exactly something that should be celebrated, no matter how evil they might be, it is good to know that nobody else will die at the hands of this man.

  2. I have to agree with Matt when he says that "the death of an individual is nothing exactly something that should be celebrated." Yet it is amazing how many people paraded through the streets cheering for such a victory. All that can be said is... God bless America.

  3. This is seriously taking over the news right now, and there is a lot of insensitive stuff being said, which is really unnecessary. The amount of Osama jokes, then Obama jokes, then more jokes on Bush was just insane. I hope we can filter out the hatred and insensitivity out more and focus on the political ramifications of this event more than anything.
